Design conceptualization
For this project, our design approach prioritized residents’ living experience, efficient energy use, and maximization of space. Using design thinking, we created a comfortable and sustainable space - repurposing old building elements to produce a new and unique aesthetic. Thus, we transformed an unfavourable site into a high-value, residential real estate.
Sustainability
Glass walls with openable panes take advantage of natural lighting and natural ventilation, maximizing daylight and airflow. Coupled with breeze blocks, we significantly reduced solar heat gain. Thus, we were able to achieve a more sustainable building.
